So I want to apologize for this poor rendering. I have a bit of a headache so I can’t really hand render the way I would normally, so this is an Adobe Illustrator rendering instead.
After my last post, I decided to reread the Yule Ball chapter in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and realized that Hermione’s robes are described as periwinkle blue and “floaty” (or so Harry seems to think).
I really do love Jany Temime’s original design of pink and ruffles, but thought it’d be fun to re-imagine the dress, still keeping Temime’s feminine, girly flow but with less ruffles and in a different color. The capped sleeves would be adorned with hand beaded silk flowers (think Elie Saab), the bust in draped fabric with sweetheart neckline, and the dress in different shades of blue chiffon.
